The view from my balcony was lovely, overlooking the lake and mountains. I enjoyed relaxing by the well-maintained pool area, a good spot to unwind after exploring. The walk back from the ferry was steep and the dining options were somewhat limited were nice.

Beautiful landscape, beautiful hotel, feels more like a house than a hotel which it feel very cosy, very quiet ( off the main road) and very nice pool. Convenient parking. Good breakfast buffet. Beds were comfortable.
The staff were hardly smiling & never made me feel welcomed. I'm very easy going & didnt really care but at 95 Euros a night, a smile once in a while would have been nice. The check in was the worst part (which to me is the most important part as it is the first impression the guest has), the man didnt explain me anything (no info about breakfast, where the facilities are etc), only gave me my key. The rooms were nice and very quiet. There is no air conditioning in the room but I didn't mind. It would have been nice to maybe have 1 or 2 english tv channels ( there's about 80 channels on tv but all in Italian).

It is comfortable, clean and quiet, but has no charm.
Regarding the location, it is not in the nicest part of Tremezzo.

This is a great option for seeing Lake Como on a budget. My room was spacious and clean. I had an amazing balcony view of the lake. The staff was helpful, especially with recommending a boat rental. The pool area was also a fantastic spot to relax after a day of exploring 😊

Nice quiet location away from busy lakeside road. Relaxed atmosphere friendly staff who spoke reasonable English.
Our room did not have air conditioning and as the tempeatures reached 32 degrees we could have done with it. Also there was no full length mirror in the room which I was informed by my other half is essential for checking your outfit before going out!!

The hotel is in a good location approximately 10 mins from the nearest restaurant and 15 mins from Tremezzo (note that the walk back is uphill!). Plenty of parking and a nice pool area, although we didn't make use of it. Weather permitting you can have breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lake and mountains.
The hard floors in the hotel corridors means that sound travels quite effectively. There were a couple of families with 'enthusiatic' young chlidren staying at the same time as us, so if you're looking for absolute peace and quiet maybe this isn't the right place.

Clean and well-kept rooms. The pool area offers a nice spot to chill after a hot day.
Rooms can feel dated, with some amenities like AC being excessively loud. Breakfast is quite basic and lacks variety, and a couple of minor issues like a locked side gate and no plug in the bathroom basin can be inconvenient.

It was very clean, the breakfst was very nice
They say family rooms so they expect childern but they keep telling them to be quiet when in the swimming pool, then they stand there to make sure they are quiet. This was only at 11.00pm. Also they expect quests to leave the bar by 11.00. We didnot have any childern but the youngest were told by the older gent to be quiet even when they were just laughing in the pool which I htink spoiled it.

The swimming pool after a long day,the peace and quiet, the gardens were well maintained and very nice. The view from our balcony fantastic, rooms 209 or 211 worth asking for. The breakfast was excellent. We did not mind the walk down into Tremezzo about 15 minutes to the ferry point, but some people might find the walk back up the hill strenuous. The roads around the hotel are very safe to walk at night.
It is not a cpmplaint but a suggestion, a small fridge in the lakeside view rooms would be an asset.

Great room, fantastic view. Hotel was perfect in it's setting. Staff particularly nice and friendly. Wifi ok, parking easy. Outdoor pool very good, quiet location, not far from Tremezzo and other lakeside towns. Nice breakfast.
Would have preferred a duvet instead of blankets. No restaurant for evening meals but lots of options close by.

This is a very nice hotel: low-key, comfortable and relaxing. It had got a few criticisms for its meagre breakfasts and general noise, but we ignored these and booked anyway. Any hotel near Lake Como is very expensive: in this context, it represents solid value. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the general ambience, very calm. Clearly, quite a few others liked the general vibe, as it was fairly full with well-mannered guests. The hotel is up a slope, and literally a very short walk to the lakeside at Tremezzo. Can heartily recommend the little restaurant hidden upstairs at the cafe/bar opposite the car park. The local mayor and his mates were eating there, the night we visited, and the food was decidedly local, and pretty cheap. Local wine is also very good. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool, where you can lounge or swim to your heart's content. Free internet, too...
The hotel has two shortcomings. It looks lovely - old-style exterior, but modern fittings - but seems to be a victim of some Italian construction- process which means that sound (voices, beds scraping, tv) readily carries between rooms. In the same vein, it's the only place I've stayed in where the very modern door handles can't be turned from the outside, so that - unless you use your door-key with some skill! - when you leave the room and close the door, it makes a lot of noise, which can disturb fellow-residents. The location is great, and we'd use it again - but be aware that a local resident at the rear owns a very noisy Alsatian, which barks at every car or Vespa that passes! Better sound-proofing and different door-handles, and it would probably rate another star. But Hitchcock might have found a starring role for that Alsatian in 'Rear Window'!

The room was bright and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking Lake Como, where I enjoyed my coffee each morning. The family atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. I also loved the sparkling clean pool, a great way to relax.
Limited dining options.
